Spokane River (Float Fishing)
September 28 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm PDT
A true ‘urban fishery gem’, the Spokane runs right through the heart of the city. Many anglers from the area travel great distances to the mountains of Idaho to fish and overlook this amazing river! While the primary quarry is the river’s beautiful Redband Rainbow Trout, Brown and Cutthroat Trout are present as well. The average size fish is around 14”-18”, fish over 18” are not uncommon, and there’s always a possibility of a true trophy. The Spokane is mostly a floated river (wade access is limited), so you will likely be fishing out of a raft or drift boat. The primary hatch on this river is the caddis hatch, but its bug life is diverse and varied. When conditions hold steady, the fall fishing on the Spokane can be extremely good. The Spokane is in Washington and requires a WA state Fishing License.
